How to Borrow from the Library Services for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing

The Library Services for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing is located in the Nashville Public Library's Main Library. Any Tennessean may borrow books, media programs and equipment from us free of charge for 3 weeks! Please see our Rules for Borrowing.

Procedures for getting and returning the materials vary depending on if you live in Nashville or in another city in Tennessee.

Nashville Residents

Nashvillians need to obtain a Nashville Public Library card to borrow items.  A card may be obtained by showing a picture ID with a current Nashville address on it at any Nashville Public Library location.

Hours: Tuesday - Friday
9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (Central Time)
