How to Borrow from the Library Services for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing

The Library Services for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing is located in the Nashville Public Library's Main Library. Any Tennessean may borrow books, media programs and equipment from us free of charge for 3 weeks!

Procedures for getting and returning the materials vary depending on if you live in Nashville or in another city in Tennessee.

Nashville Residents

Nashvillians need to obtain a Nashville Public Library card to borrow items.  A card may be obtained by showing a picture ID with a current Nashville address on it at any Nashville Public Library location.

You must submit proof of TN residency when submitting this application. Send, along with your application, a copy of a current photo I.D. with the street address matching the address on the application.
